Hi, I’m Jason.
I am a graphic and web designer, and coder based near Winston-Salem, NC. For over two decades I've worked to craft exciting, delightful designs, help solve problems, and build lasting, trust relationships with clients. For the past 13+ years my focus has been in the higher education industry.
I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in “the late 1900s” with a B.A. in Communication Studies. After college, while pursuing my passion for music, I took on many freelance web and graphic design projects until finally settling into my full-time design career as the Web & Graphic Designer at Campbell University in 2005. My time there proved to be an excellent environment to learn and grow.
In 2011 I moved to a role with the higher education marketing firm Fire Engine RED. Initially in a client support role, I transitioned into a designer and coder role in 2014 and remained there until Carnegie Dartlett acquired the company in 2023.
At Carnegie, I assumed a pure design role with a focus on designing emails, landing pages, print pieces, and social media ads.

My current fav:
The other day I came home to find my house had been broken into. They ransacked everything — kicked open doors, flipped furniture, and turned out drawers. They stole all sorts of things, but the worst was my limbo pole. I mean seriously, how low can you go?
